EVIDENCE OF BLACK ANTS
(GARDEN ANTS)
Small mounds of soil can be found on lawns, pathways, and patio areas. The soil mounds are evidence of ants building nest areas. Clusters of ants for when looking for food.
Black ants are not known to carry any diseases, they do travel across floor surfaces before they arrive in your kitchen so who knows what they’ve picked up on there journey.
TREATMENT FOR BLACK ANTS
There are a couple of different treatments we use for black ants, we use a wettable insecticide that is sprayed around the affected floor areas internally and externally. We also use ant bait stations that have a jel like insecticide inside them that ants find very attractive. They feed on the jel and also take it back to the nest to feed the young ants.
